CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA | PHOTOGRAPHY MEETS PAINT
Travel photography that couldn’t stay still
Original mixed-media artworks and fine art prints from the corners of the world most people walked past.
Shop the New Collection
Twenty fine art photography prints and four original mixed-media artworks — all from a single sabbatical through Morocco in 2018. The same eye. The same trip. Two very different ways to bring it home.
The photography prints capture the places — the dunes, the medinas, the corners most people walked past. The originals go further — photographs used as a canvas, layered with acrylic, marker and ink until they became something else entirely.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE ART
Making art in the margins of motherhood.
I'm Molly — a Cairns-based photographer and artist working at the intersection of travel and art. Where photography meets paint, and milestones meet the moments in between.
I spent years photographing the world and filing the images away. It took a pandemic, a baby, and a lot of paint to figure out what to do with them.
