I climbed to this rooftop in Fez and the sky did something I've never forgotten.
The painted marks that fill the upper two thirds of this piece came from listening. The call to prayer in a city of minarets doesn't arrive all at once — it builds, bounces, overlaps itself, becomes this layered insistent moving thing. I tried to paint that. The rooftops below stay exactly as they were — still, amber, ancient. Above them everything moves.
This is the smallest of the four originals and the most intimate for it. The kind of piece that works in a smaller space but fills it completely.
This work begins as Glow — available as a photography print in the shop — and is transformed through layers of acrylic, marker and ink into something entirely new.

Original 21 × 29.7mm (A4) artwork on 310gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Matte, textured, archival — designed to last a lifetime. Includes certificate of authenticity. Unframed, edge-to-edge. Ships rolled in a sturdy kraft tube within 2–5 business days. Fits standard A4 frames, however to maintain longevity of such a special piece, it is recommended to frame professionally.
